Analytics & Performance Data

WeShelf uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (provided by Vercel Inc.) to understand how the site is used and to monitor performance.

This analytics is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it does not use cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. We collect aggregated, anonymized data such as page views, referrers, country (derived from IP at the edge — the IP itself is not stored), device type, browser, and performance metrics such as load time and responsiveness.

We also record a small number of anonymous product events to understand which features are used — for example, viewing a shelf, opening a book, entering room mode, playing a tour, or running a search. These events contain only non-identifying values (such as a shelf ID and a result count). Search terms are never recorded.

This data is processed by Vercel as our data processor. Because no cookies or personal identifiers are used, no consent banner is required. We use this data solely to improve WeShelf.

Account Data

If you create an account, we store the information you provide (such as your email, display name, and the shelves, books, rooms, and tours you create) in order to provide the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Your Choices

You can request access to or deletion of your account data by contacting us at the address above. Because analytics is anonymous and cookieless, there is no per-user analytics profile to access or delete.
