The Tortilla Curtain

Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles, California, is home to two couples on a collision course--liberals Delaney and Kyra Mossbacher, who lead an ordered existence in a newly gated hilltop community, and Candido and America Rincon, Mexican illegals desperately clinging to their vision of the American Dream as they fight off starvation--who, when they meet, create a tragicomedy of error and misunderstanding.
